“The 2016 Châteauneuf du Pape Les Combelles had already been bottled at the time of my tastings and it’s medium to full-bodied, impressively concentrated 2016 that has traditional notes or dark berry fruits, peppery herbs, and earth. Rich, balanced, with ripe tannin, it does everything right and should keep through 2016.”
